V. Vaughn lives on an island off the coast of Maine with her two Portuguese Water dogs, dozens of chickens and plenty of wildlife visitors. She takes inspiration from the rocky shores and thick woodlands of Maine where she tries to enjoy the outdoors in all kinds of weather. Her books include many of the things she sees, hears, smells and imagines on her daily walk.
